Can't Sleep? 20 Worthwhile Things to do Instead

Hello lovely followers!

Morgan here. Per usual, I can't sleep. I think I pull so many all-nighters during the week studying for my two majors (college students you can relate i'm sure!) that my body is used to not sleeping at this point. I have decided that while I'm not sleeping, i'm going to be productive and write a list of 20 worthwhile things to do when my lovely readers can't sleep either!
Ready?! Okay!

1) Plan your dream vacation somewhere down to the last detail, and then actually go.
2) Read old etiquette books (try Amy Vanderbilt's! They're so outdated that its actually funny comparing them to more recent ones).
3) Write a letter to the editor of your favorite magazine.
4) Make a list of all of the people in your life and why you appreciate them, and then let them know.
5) Use the time to think of 5 people you would love to get to know better, and then reach out to them.
6) Look through the word of the day on dictionary.com
7) Take a bubble bath with wine and listen to your favorite composer
8) Dream up your dream job, and then find it
9) Look for interesting conferences and events to attend
10) Check out new organizations in your area
11) Start a journal, write about everything you're thinking about
12) Pretend to be Julia Child and get your cook on
13) Research the history of random events- this could actually come in handy at some point in life!
14) Attempt to paint a picture
15) Go to Spotify and discover new artists! Then create fun playlists.
16) Catch up on the news. Learn some new facts! Who knows when things you learn could come in handy.
17) Write a letter to a friend wishing her good luck on her exams!
18) Attempt a crossword puzzle, and actually finish the entire thing. (I know I usually don't)
19) Update your LinkedIn and network on social media sites
20) Discover fun new blogs and magazine articles

I hope you enjoyed this list! I actually have done quite a few of these and they certainly pass the time productively. If you can't sleep, might as well use your time well! Or you could always just try drinking herbal tea and putting on some Michael Bublé. That method works wonders for the restless mind. Oh and one quick fun fact... i'm absolutely in love with dalmatians! Dalmatians and Irish setters are my favorite dogs.

Ciao,
M

PS- ONE WEEK UNTIL I FLY OUT. Italy here I come! The first thing i'm going to do is go to the Opera! I already have a few ballets in mind as well.
